Private Boat Hire Brisbane
Your crew, your boat, your kind of Brissy adventure. From corporate catch-ups to big celebrations and interstate visitors, see Brisbane the way it was meant to be seen: from the water.
Our Guests Say It Best
What is private boat hire on the Brisbane River?
Private boat hire on the Brisbane River means your group books an entire boat and nobody else comes aboard.
At Brisvegas Cruises, we’ve got two boats ready to show your crew a good time: the James Cavill and The Lady in Red. Both can host up to 130 guests, with Brisbane’s iconic riverfront as your backdrop.
If you want to do Brisbane properly, get out on the Brown Snake!
A private Brisbane River cruise is about as Brisbane as it gets. You’ll cruise past the city’s best-known landmarks, glide under our iconic bridges and see the River City from a whole new angle. Think skyline views, river breezes and a front-row seat to everything that makes Brissy, well, Brissy.
The best part? No crowds, no queues and absolutely no trekking around in the Queensland heat. Just sit back, relax and let Brisbane put on a show.

What You'll See on Private Brisbane River Cruises
Brisbane’s got some pretty good-looking landmarks, and most of them are right on the river. Lucky for you, we’ve got the best seats in the house.
Story Bridge and Wharves
You can’t say you’ve done Brisbane without seeing the Story Bridge! Cruise beneath this 1940 icon, with the buzzing Howard Smith Wharves precinct tucked underneath.
Botanic Gardens and Queen's Wharf
A little greenery, a little city glamour. Cruise past Brisbane’s oldest heritage gardens and the impressive Queen’s Wharf precinct, all without leaving your seat.
South Bank and the Wheel
Brisbane’s favourite weekend hangout looks even better from the water. Wave hello to South Bank and the 60-metre Wheel of Brisbane as you float on by.
Powerhouse and New Farm Park
Glide by an old power station turned thriving arts hub beside leafy New Farm Park.

Private Boat Hire Questions, Answered
How much does private boat hire in Brisbane cost?
The price depends on the date and time. We quote upfront and spell out exactly what’s included, so there are no surprises on the day. Send us your date and group size for a straight-up price.
How many people can a private boat hold?
Each of our two boats, the James Cavill and The Lady in Red, takes up to 130 guests. There’s no minimum guest requirement from Sunday to Thursday. Friday and Saturday evening charters require a minimum of 30 guests.
What happens if it rains?
Rain? We don’t even notice. Both boats have covered decks on both levels, so your group stays dry and the party doesn’t skip a beat. If conditions ever make a cruise unsafe, we’ll tell you straight away and talk through your options with you.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
There’s plenty of flexibility. Bring your own cake, self-cater for a small clean-up fee, or pick from our menu. We also have drinks packages to suit every budget, and we’ll walk you through how drinks work on board when you enquire.
Can you host a visiting group from interstate or overseas?
Yes. One booking covers the boat, the crew, the food and the drinks, which makes private boat hire easy for visiting groups. Give us your dates, numbers and pickup point and we’ll sort the plan, the quote and the invoice.
Ready to Lock In Your Private Boat?
Tell us your date, round up your group and we’ll come back with a quote. Corporate crew, visiting team or big celebration, there’s a good time waiting on the water.
